People of Nasarawa State advised President Muhammadu Buhari to use these opportunity of his re-election to improve on some key areas especially on the security of the nation and reduce unemployment to at least 1.1% in Nigeria.
Meanwhile, they want Mr. President to given maximum priority to the security of lives and property, which would go a long way in boosting the socio-economic development of the country.
One of the residents of Keffi, Mr. Ibrahim Isah, expressed happiness toward the victory of President Buhari and urged him not to relent in his efforts to better the standards of living of Nigerians.
“I am very happy with the re-election of our President, Muhammadu Buhari; he deserves a second term because he has done a lot in the areas of security, economy and corruption.
“But my call on the President is for him to give premium to the security of lives and property as well as tackle unemployment.
“Let him bring more positive programmes that will reduce and fight youth unemployment in the country,” he said.
Speaking further, he want Buhari to tackle the menace of insecurity in the country to ensure the realization of the desired development.
He said that the Federal Government Social Programmes had reduced unemployment and boosted the socio-economic activities of the people.
Mr Ibrahim Isah used this medium to thanked God for ensuring President Buhari’s re-election, expressed hope that Buhari would do more in his second tenure.
