Ghana Unity DAO (in collaboration with Harmony) put on a Web3 Panel in Accra, the capital Ghana.
The Web3 Accra panel was launched to help build more awareness and encourage collaborative relations between the Web3 community & government institutions seeking to develop and gain further knowledge within the industry.
Africa has the opportunity to lead the world in regards to Web3 adoption: Mobile Money leads in transaction processing, but there are many advantages that blockchain has to offer over MoMo… The panel discusses Ghana entering the Web3 space and how the timing is right: the population is one of the youngest in the world, the youth embraces change, the education system is good, and the population is creative and always finding new ways to do things. This panel is an inside look on how Ghana is positioning itself to lead in the Web3 space.
