Coronavirus: Nigerians start watching DSTV, GOTV, Star Times, Local Channels for free – Lai Mohammed

The Nigerian Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed, disclosed on Wednesday that Nigerian should start watching DSTV, GOTV, Star times and other local Channels for free.
This he stated at a regular press conference held by the Special Committee on the Coronavirus.

The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has ordered television broadcasters to allow Nigerians to watch local broadcasts for free.

LaiĀ  Mohammed said the move was taken to ensure that Nigerians received the necessary information on the coronavirus epidemic, which causes Covid-19 virus.

The minister is referring to companies such as DSTV and StarTimes, which provide the largest number of satellite TV channels.

“The thing is, if you buy a DSTV or StarTimes card and your money is gone then you can keep watching the NTA channels, Channels, TVC, AIT and others,” Lai Mohammed said.

The minister said that those who are being subjected to domestic violence will have to reduce their fear of going out of their quest to help their families.

Coronavirus is causing serious damage to many countries around the world, while major retailers are losing out on money.
